The regional conference “Foot-and-Mouth Disease Prevention: Safeguarding Livestock, Livelihoods, and Economies” held on March18–19, 2025, in Curitiba, Brazil, brought together over 120 stakeholders from public and private sectors across South America. The two-day event focused on enhancing emergency preparedness for FMD control, with particular emphasis on prevention and risk mitigation strategies.
