The regional workshop “Right Tools, Real Impact: Evaluation and Use of FMD Vaccines and Diagnostics in the Field”, in early November 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand, brought together more than 50 stakeholders from public and private sectors across Southeast Asia and beyond.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants and speakers for your engaged contributions — you made this workshop a real success.
The two-day event fostered rich exchanges of knowledge, scientific insights, and field experience, highlighting both the complexity of FMD control and the opportunities for innovation and closer collaboration. The discussions provided a valuable platform to assess current practices and reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening FMD control through high-quality tools, evidence-based strategies, and effective public–private partnerships.
The workshop also underscored the importance of capacity building and regional cooperation in building sustainable and resilient FMD control programs across Southeast Asia.
