In December 2025, the first edition of the VetTech Conference was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Jointly organized by the National Livestock & Fisheries Development Program (NLFDP),the Saudi Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), and the TAFS Forum, the two-day conference brought together over 200 participants from government, industry, academia, and international organizations, united by a shared commitment to building resilient livestock systems and fostering innovation in animal health.
A heartfelt thank you to all participants and partners who made the first VetTech a truly forward-looking platform.
Across four dynamic sessions, the conference explored how scientific innovation and emerging technologies can strengthen animal health systems, support food security, and enhance economic resilience
One message resonated strongly:
Strategic investment in animal health is not a cost, but a high-impact investment that strengthens food security, trade, public health, and long-term system resilience.
The VetTech Conference reaffirmed that proactive, technology-enabled prevention is key to building resilient and future-ready animal health systems.
